Collection Location: Maryland Department, Enoch Pratt Free Library / State Library Resource Center
Collection Overview: In 2006, the Enoch Pratt Free Library embarked on the Maryland Library's Most Wanted project. The goal of the project was to seek the public's knowledge and assistance in identifying a number of photographs in its collections. A selection of unidentified photos were digitized and made available online. All of them were taken in the state of Maryland in the 20th century, but in many cases that's all that was known. Members of the public responded by providing the locations, people, and other information pertaining to the photographs; however, some remain unidentified.
When viewing the images in the collection, the status of the photograph (identified or unidentified) is indicated in the data below the image. If you recognize the unidentified pictures, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, the picture number, anything you recognize about the picture, and any sources of information you used to identify the photograph (newspaper clipping, book, television program, etc.). Each person who correctly identifies a photograph gets their name put next to the picture.
